Imodium Original (2mg) – 12 Capsules

Adults and children over 12:
Take 2 capsules to start, then 1 capsule after each loose bowel movement.
Do not take more than 6 capsules in 24 hours.

IBS sufferers (18+):
Can be used for up to 2 weeks to manage repeated attacks, but no single attack should be treated for more than 48 hours.

Always read the leaflet and drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

Do not use if:
You are under 12 years old (or under 18 for IBS treatment)
You’re allergic to loperamide or any other ingredients
You have severe diarrhoea after antibiotics, dysentery, ulcerative colitis flare-ups, or stomach swelling

Speak to a doctor or pharmacist before use if you:
Have liver disease, AIDS, or sugar intolerance
Are pregnant or trying to conceive
Are breastfeeding (loperamide can pass into breast milk)
Take medications such as Ritonavir (HIV), Desmopressin, Gemfibrozil, Quinidine or Ketoconazole/itraconazole
