Epaderm Ointment is a rich emollient ointment that soothes, hydrates and protects dry skin, eczema and psoriasis. A great 3-in-1 product that can also be used as a soap substitute or bath additive.

Epaderm Ointment is a thick, fragrance-free emollient that deeply moisturises and protects very dry or eczema-prone skin. Suitable for all ages, including babies, it creates a protective barrier over the skin, locking in moisture and relieving itching, flaking and irritation. This makes it particularly helpful for managing conditions like eczema and psoriasis, as well as protecting against environmental triggers like central heating or cold weather. Formulated with just three ingredients, Epaderm is ideal for sensitive skin and free from fragrances, preservatives and colourings. Use it as a skin moisturiser, a soap substitute for washing, or as a bath additive for all-over hydration. Can I use Epaderm Ointment on my face? Yes, epaderm ointment can be used anywhere, although its thick texture makes it more suited to very dry areas. Avoid contact with the eyes. How often should I apply it? As often as needed. Many people apply it morning and night, and after washing, to keep skin moisturised throughout the day. Can I use Epaderm with other treatments? Yes, it can be used alongside topical steroids or other treatments, but apply emollients first and leave a gap before applying any medicated creams unless advised otherwise by a healthcare professional. As a moisturiser:
Apply directly to the skin in the direction of hair growth, ideally after bathing. Use as often as needed to keep the skin soft and comfortable.

As a cleanser:
Scoop a small amount into your hands and mix with warm water. Use just like soap, then rinse.

As a bath additive:
Dissolve approximately 4g (about a heaped teaspoon) in a tumbler of warm water and pour into your bath. Be cautious, Epaderm may make bath surfaces slippery.

Keep away from open flames or smoking. This product contains paraffin. Clothing, bedding, and bandages that come into contact with Epaderm may be more flammable.
Do not use if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients.
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
If irritation occurs, discontinue use and speak to your doctor or pharmacist. Seek immediate medical help if you experience signs of a severe allergic reaction (swelling, rash, difficulty breathing).
